Keeping your mat clean helps preserve its grip, comfort, and lifespan:
Daily Cleaning:
Wipe your mat after each session with a damp cloth or natural mat spray. Let it air dry completely before rolling.
Deep Cleaning (weekly or as needed):
Mix water with a few drops of mild soap or white vinegar. Gently wipe with a soft cloth, then wipe again with clean water. Air dry in a shaded, ventilated space for 24–48 hours (depending on mat thickness and humidity).
For natural rubber mats:
❌ Avoid essential oils or oil-based cleaners
☀️ Never dry in direct sunlight
✅ Make sure the mat is fully dry before storing
🔁 Roll loosely — never store tightly rolled or damp
Extra Tip:
If you sweat a lot or practice in studios, use a washable yoga towel on top of your mat to absorb moisture and reduce cleaning frequency.
